There are three types of configured product selectors:

Using the New Web-based SelectorsWeb-based product selectors are accessed via the Internet and therefore you must have Internet access and a modern browser such as Firefox or Chrome to run these selectors. We also recommend that if you are using an older version of Internet Explorer that you update to version 10 or later.
You must also have your browser setup to allow pop up windows from the QuoteFast website. If you try to open a web-based selector you will receive a warning message letting you know that your browser is blocking pop ups from QuoteFast and that you must allow them. Below is an example of how you might see the pop up warning in Firefox and Chrome:
This is the main interface:
Menu and Toolbar This is where you will find a variety of commands to add new devices, configure your user interface, access help, save your settings and exit the selector. You can also enter your item's designation in the top Designation field and select the quantity of the configured product you are working on in the Qty field. If you place our cursor over an icon you will see help text describing the icon's purpose:
Before you close the selector you should always save your work. You can either click the Save icon The proper way to close a selector is by using the Exit button
Navigation Panel / Device List This is where you will see a list of all your devices, parts or other items that make up the configured product. Some products will only have one selection and will look like this:
while other configured products will have multiple items listed:
Click on any of the lines in the navigation panel to move to the features for that particular item.
Feature Editor This is the main area where you will select the options for your product. Start at the top and work your way down the list. As you make selections for a feature the list of available options for the features further down will populate only with the choices available. If a feature is gray then you cannot edit this feature.
Message Panel
Icons indicate the type of message and whether the message is from the Feature Editor or Device Placement.
