Yes, the completed Bill of Material (BOM) from QuoteFAST is passed to EQM.

In the upper right corner you will find a drop down with several items. One is "Change Password".

Simply click and follow the prompts to create a new password. See for How To Change Your Password additional details.

If you are a distributor and your customer has an existing QuoteFast account, you do not need the number to share a project or upload to EQM. Simply select the company name from the list that appears when trying to send to EQM. However, if your customer does not have an existing QuoteFast account, you will have to look up their customer account number on EQM at this time. We hope to add full customer search capability to QuoteFast in the future.

If you are not a distributor then you do not have to worry about entering account numbers in any QuoteFast function as they are already embedded into your account profile.

The contractor informs the distributor to proceed as you do today, then the distributor enters the order in EQM.

Some menu items will have a tooltip that appears when you hover over the item.Many tooltips will have a link to Video Help (a short video to explain how to use the function). On the bottom, you will see a checkbox to turn off specific tooltips you no longer wish to see.In addition, you can Enable or Disable all Tooltips using through your settings, see Enabbling and Disabling Tooltips for additional details and examples.

The contractor will share their BOM with their distributor of choice, in their market. An email will be sent to that distributor through the QuoteFAST Share BOM option; then the distributor will copy the bill of material into EQM and follow the same process used today.

QuoteFAST, available on iOS and Android devices, provides the ability to work through various design scenarios and experiment with design options for complex equipment. Electrical contractors can easily generate and download associated drawings within minutes, complete tasks quickly -- all of which supports improved reaction time to provide fast, accurate quotes to customers.

Product Configuration capabilities will include the ability to drag/drop, device placement, drawings, and long text bill of material.

'BOM' is just our shorthand for Bill Of Material. It is a list of items that are being selected and quoted to meet the requirements of the Project. Some people may use terms such as a parts list or parts schedule to mean the same thing as a Bill Of Material.

Either selection will allow your distributor to access the BOM. If you select 'Edit', the distributor will also be able to edit your BOM.

Each Distributor has a designated set of email ID's per location. When you share a BOM with a Distributor, those email ID(s) are sent a message informing them that your QuoteFast BOM was just shared with them. The Distributor will then review your BOM, any notes, etc and take the next steps in responding the sender.

No. Distributor(s) will provide all market-based pricing for a BOM.
